Operation Principle of the Misting System:
Water is delivered through high-pressure pumps (typically between 40 to 70 bar) and sprayed as a fine mist through specially designed micro-nozzles.
When the mist comes into contact with the warm greenhouse air, it quickly evaporates, resulting in a temperature drop and a rise in relative humidity.
The system is typically installed on the greenhouse ceiling to ensure even mist distribution throughout the growing area.
Components of the Misting System
- High-pressure anti-corrosion pump
- Water filtration unit (prevents nozzle clogging)
- Fine-orifice brass or stainless-steel nozzles
- High-pressure piping (made of polyamide or stainless steel)
- Automatic controller (for timing and humidity level adjustment)
